Hot South Indian actress Asin-pictures and Biography

Asin Thottumkal was born in Kochi in the 1979 in a Christian family. Her father was an entrepreneur (now Asin's manager) and her mother is surgeon.
Asin made her debut in the Malayalam movie Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in the year 2001. She also was a brand ambassador for the produvts like Colgate Toothpaste and Fairever Cream etc.

In 2003, Asin won Filmfare Best Telugu Actress Award for the movie Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammay and Santosham Best Actress Award for Shivamani.
Asin gave many Telegu hits like Lakshmi Narasimha, Gharshana, M Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi, Varalaru (a Tamil movie), Annavaram, Pokiri and Vel.
Her luck with Bollywood was not so successful. Though Ghajini with Aamir Khan was a blockbuster hit, but London Dreams crashed at the Box Ofiice. Her latest Bollywood movie Ready with Salman Khan also did not perform very well.

Asin recently been associated with brands like Mirinda (soft drink), Spinz Talcum Powder, BIG 92.7 FM Radio station, Tanishq, Goldplus Jewellery, Tata Sky, Lux and Big Bazaar along with Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni.
